Why am I still seeing fleas after advocate?
After Advocate it is still possible to see fleas on your pet however this does not meant that the treatment has not worked. It is normal to find fleas reappearing 10-14 days after treating your pet as any existing eggs prior to the treatment would have hatched. However, if the treatment remains in place it will kill them as they hatch. In order to ensure this happens, it is essential to avoid washing your dog within 48 hours of application, as this could eliminate the insecticide.
